Sarah Naomi Bramhill, wife of Alfred Munford, came home to Palmerston, from their homestead in the Milly district of Saskatchewan in 1917, to deliver her first-born Mildred Ophelia Munford. Mildred married Robert ALLEN Thomson in 1938. They lived on the Thomson homestead with Allen’s mother in the Milly District as well.

They were blessed with four children:
                JOYCE Elaine 1939,
                Robert WAYNE 1940,
                Diana GAIL 1945,
                Douglas DALE 1946

They were divorced and Allen moved to Vancouver, B.C. where he died in 1987.

1. JOYCE married Vaughn Hiltz in McCord, Sask. 1956. They have four children, BARRY Lewis 1957, CONNIE Dawn 1958, Patricia GWEN 1961, MARK Edwin 1963. They ranch and live in the McCord area of Sask.

BARRY married Wendy (MacElwee) of Kitchener, Ont. in 1989. They have three children, KIRA Danielle 1990, KYRSTIN Cheyenne 1991, CLAY Lewis 1995. They ranch with Barry’s parents.

CONNIE lives in Calgary Alberta with Jeff Webber

GWEN lives in Calgary Alberta

MARK married Monique (Rondeau) of Calgary, Alberta in 1989. They have two children, SAMANTHA Marianne 1991, RILEY Vaughn, Lewis 1993. They live in Calgary.

3. GAIL married Douglas Eklund of McCord in 1963. They have four children, JOANNE Fay 1964, DARYL Vernon 1966, TRACY Dawn 1975, LEE Douglas 1976. They ranch in the McCord area and custom combine in the U.S.

JOANNE married Floyd Petersen of Fir Mountain, Sask. They have four children, CALEB Douglas Louis 1986, CRESENTHIA Naomi Leigh 1989, LINDSAY Dustin Lloyd 1991, DANIELLE Anne Louisa 1993. They ranch in the Fir Mountain area and custom combine in the U.S.

DARYL married Kathy Kuffner of Glentworth, Sask. in 1990. They have three children, DAPHENE Lyn 1991, TY Douglas 1994, TRAE Vernon 1995. They live on his grandfather Eklund’s homestead and ranch with Daryl’s parents.

TRACY married Shawn Labocetta of Glentworth Sask. in 2000. They have two children, JACOB Stephen Rhett 1996, RAYNE Diana Lee 1999. They live in Moose Jaw Sask.

LEE lives in Saskatoon Sask. with Peggy Bokor

4. DALE married Evelyn Rieder of Mankota, Sask. in 1972. They have two children Shawna BETH 1973, CORY Douglas 1975. They divorced in 1990. DALE lives on and farms his grandfather Thomson’s homestead.

BETH and CORY both live in Saskatoon, Sask.

Mildred (age 83) retired to McCord in 1992. She plays the organ every Sunday at McCord United Church, bowls during the winter, writes for the weekly paper, and walks to the store twice a day for coffee. (This information is current to May 2000)
