Chapter 3.3.8
Beatrice Louise Goodwin
By Irene Young
Beatrice is the youngest daughter of John Goodwin and Elizabeth Bramhill. She was born 31 August 1891, at Palmerston, Ontario. She died the 26 January 1972 at Assiniboia, Saskatchewan.
Beatrice married Lorne Longfellow Gullivan, April 1917 at Colgate,
Saskatchewan.
Since Beatrice’s marriage took place at Colgate, Saskatchewan, it
would seem likely that is where she met Lorne while visiting her brother Eli
who had previously established himself on his homestead. There is no
information as to when Lorne came to Saskatchewan from his home in Nova
Scotia. It is also unknown if they lived in the Colgate area, but we do know
that at some time after they were married they made their home in Assiniboia,
Saskatchewan.
