Wilfred Bramhill was born in Misterton, Lincolnshire, England. Wilfred is of the line of John Bramhill and Eliza Oliver. Wilfred is the son of John Bramhill (1864 – 1944) and Sarah Howlett. John was a general labourer when he married Sarah on June 22, 1885. He later became a chemical works foreman.

        Wilfred married Winifred Spencer. Winnie was born in 1888. Wilfred worked as a mason (bricklayer) to support his family. They lived on Station Street in Misterton. Wilfred and Winifred had one son, Percy Wilfred who was born around 1914 and three daughters, Ruby, Lena and Noreen.
        Ruby was born in 1909 in Misterton. She married Jack Skevington. Ruby passed away in 1996 in Eardley, Kent.
        Percy Wilfred Bramhill was born on May 8, 1911 in Misterton. He married Margaret "Rita" Lumsden. Percy died on August 25, 1976 in Montreal, Canada.
        Lena was born around 1919 (date to be confirmed) and lived in Farnborough, Hants, England. She married Ken Jennings who worked as a Draftsman.
        Noreen was born in 1922. She married Jim Deacon who worked in the Navy most of his life. He is deceased. Noreen lives in South Hampton.

Percy Wilfred Bramhill
        Percy Wilfred Bramhill was born in Misterton, Lincolnshire, England. He was the son of Wilfred Bramhill and Winifred Spencer. Percy apprenticed as a Mechanical Engineer at Rose Brothers in Gainsborough. Rose Brothers made Tobacco handling and Cigarette manufacturing equipment. When he was only 24, Rose Brothers sent him to Canada in 1935 to assist in the installation and operation of manufacturing equipment at MacDonald Tobacco in Montreal. His travel schedule was so tight that he had to leave his mother to finish wiring the family home for electricity. He started with MacDonalds Tobacco in 1935 in charge of the manufacturing equipment in the Montreal plant. He worked at MacDonalds throughout his career eventually reaching the position of Vice President of Engineering. He held several patents for manufacturing processes.
        Percy met his wife Margaret, on the production line of the Montreal plant in 1937. Margaret, born in Edinborough, had emigrated from England with her parents in 1921 at the age of 5. After a short courtship they were married on April 23, 1938 in Montreal at the St. James United Church. Percy and Margaret had four children.

Noreen Elizabeth Bramhill
        Noreen was born in Montreal on April 9, 1941. She grew up in the Mount Royal area and attended Mount Royal High School in Montreal. After graduation she worked for many years as a secretary. On October 30, 1964 she married John David Vipond. John died in 1985 at the age of 52. They had one child.
While living for a while in Vancouver Noreen’s artistic side was expressed in her work with Stained Glass. She was commissioned to make a window for the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Kimberly BC. A parishioner of the church had commissioned her to make the window in memory of her husband. The window is mounted about the main doors in the church. In 1999 Noreen decided to go back to school and then start a new career. On September 2 of 1999 she started studies at George Brown College and graduated in March of 2000 with her diploma as a Personal Support Worker in Health Services.
