BRAMHILL REUNION - Over 200 people were town over the weekend for the Bramhill family reunion People from all over attended, from several branches of the family.
On Sunday morning a church service with approximately 160 people attending. In the lower photo is Peter Bramhill from England who was the speaker at the church service. In the upper photo he poses with 95 year-old Robert Brechin, from Grandville, MI., the oldest in attendance.

Descendants Gather For Church Service
On Saturday July 9 descendants of George and Ann Bramhill gathered
at the Palmerston and District Curling Club for a family church service.
The original plan was for an outside service at the former homestead of
George and Ann now owned by Bob and Lynda Bramhill.
One hundred and sixty gathered and enjoyed their time of worship together.
Other activities followed throughout the day and concluded with a barbecue
chicken supper.

New Found Relative
Jack Bramhill, from Burnaby, B.C., attended along with his wife Lucero,
brother Bob, sister Alana and brother Keith. Jack discovered about the
reunion on the Internet and did some research to see how he was related.
He is the great, great, great grandson of the local Bramhill's great, great,
great grandfather John Bramhill's brother Richard.

Bramhill Reunion Brings Out 160 for Family Church Service

The Bramhill Reunion started Saturday evening, July 8, 2000 with a casual
get-together supper, and a time of getting acquainted with relatives attending
from England, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Michigan,
North Carolina, Sault Ste. Marie and Belize in Central America.
Sunday morning plans were made to have a church service at the farm
originally settled on by George and Ann Bramhill from England presently
owned by Bob and Lynda Bramhill. Due to rain the service was held at Palmerston
Community Centre with Peter Stan-Icy Bramhill from England as the guest
speaker. Following the service lunch was served
Sunday afternoon the reunion continued with approximately 240 attending.
Scones and creamed tea were served as a special English tradition.
A special computerized presentation was produced and presented by John
Quanz of Toronto. A genealogy chart was displayed on the wall dating back
10 generations to approximately the late 1600s. John also showed pictures
projected on a screen of the Bramhill Family Homestead in Epworth England
and many older family members. He explained the genealogy of family members
present
There were representatives of all seven of George Bramhill's family
members presented.
A history look, produced by John Quanz, was available for family members.
Lauretta Shewan, from Swift Current, Sask. produced a genealogy book
of the George Bramhill family. Lauretta was presented with a watercolour
picture, painted by Brian Dalton of the house built on the homestead of
George Bramhill
John Quanz was presented with a wall clock for his preparation and
organization of the reunion.
There were many door prizes drawn during the afternoon, which were
handmade or donated by the Clendon Bramhill family. Cheryl Bramhill and
her helpers were in charge of the children's activities, which included
clowns face painting, games and movies. The reunion concluded with a BBQ
Chicken Dinner.
Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this reunion a great success.
